Welcome to the West Kent Partnership
website. Our partnership brings together organisations from
the public, private, community
and voluntary sectors — working together to tackle key issues for
West Kent. Through our approach and intervention
we aim to give the people of West Kent a voice and improve
the quality of life for all.
The
West Kent Partnership is a strategic partnership covering Sevenoaks District Council, and the
boroughs of Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells. The Partnership addresses common sub regional economic issues and identifies strategic issues for lobbying and other interventions.
Additionally,
the WKP is closely linked to each of the three community strategies
which are directly dealing with local issues:

- Supporting links between business and schools
- Promoting the benefits of employee volunteering

of the A21 and A228 Colts Hill Link
- Implementing the recommendations from studies commissioned on Affordable
Housing in West Kent
- Sponsoring Best Growing Business category of West Kent Business Awards
